Joseph Posluszny, 66, of Dupont, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
Born in Dupont, he was a son of the late Louis and Mary Spivak Posluszny and was educated in local schools. He had worked in various capacities for more than 43 years at United Rehabilitation Services, Wilkes-Barre.
Joseph enjoyed all aspects of his life. He loved bowling, dancing and socializing with his many friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Edward and John, and a sister, Theresa.
He is survived by brothers Louis, Emanuel and Barney; sister Phyllis, and numerous nieces, nephews, great and grandnieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 215 Lackawanna Ave., Dupont. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kiesinger Funeral Service Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.
