Mr. Kenneth Russell Lamoreaux Jr., of Nanticoke, passed away Feb. 6, 2013, in Sacred Heart Hospice Care, Wilkes-Barre.
He was born Feb. 21, 1967, a son of the late Kenneth Russell Lamoreaux Sr. and Dorothy Lasinski Ostrowski and David Ostrowski. He was a 1985 graduate of the West Side Technical School. He was a lumberjack for many years, an over-the-road truck driver and a jack-of-all-trades who loved to make people laugh. He loved his music and was a big fan of the New York Jets.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Russell Lamoreaux Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Frank Lasinski; his paternal grandparents, Phoebe and Louis Lamoreaux.
He is survived by his mother and father, Dorothy and David Ostrowski, Florida; a son, Kenneth David Lamoreaux; a daughter-in-law, Jamie; granddaughter, Alanis Jeanne Lamoreaux; sister, Kim Lamoreaux Lyons, with whom he resided; brother, David Ostrowski, and his wife, Nikki; sister, Sandy Lamoreaux Doyle; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the William A. Reese Funeral Chapel, rear 56 Gaylord Ave., Plymouth, with the Rev. Ronald Cease officiating. Friends may call Saturday from 1 p.m. until time of service.
