Lyndsay Abelson

On Saturday, October 6, 2012, Lyndsay Abelson, of Potomac, Md., passed away after a courageous seven-year battle with ovarian cancer.

She was the beloved wife of 32 years to Michael Abelson, former Wyoming Valley area resident; mother of Jeffrey Steffen Abelson and Melissa Stefanie Abelson; sister of Gregory and Gary Steffen; daughter of Jeanne and the late Herbert Steffen.

Funeral Service will be held at Washington Hebrew Congregation, 3935 Macomb Street, NW, Washington, D.C., today at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park. Family will be receiving friends at the Abelson residence today and Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
