Our Darling Angel, Margaret E. Motovidlak, 94, of Dallas, and formerly a resident of Tilghman's Island, Maryland, entered into eternal life peacefully on Thursday afternoon, April 19, 2012. Her beloved husband was the late Edward E. Motovidlak, who entered into eternal life on November 13, 1993. Together, Edward and Margaret shared 52 years of marriage. Born January 25, 1918, in Ashley, Margaret was a daughter to the late Joseph and Mary Ann Fruciante DeStefano. A homemaker most of her life, Margaret devoted herself to tending to the daily needs of her home and family. Margaret will be dearly missed for her beautiful smile and never forgotten by all who knew and loved her kind and gentle way. She enjoyed trips to Ocean City, Maryland every summer with her husband and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Edward, Paul, and Anthony DeStefano; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Mary Ann Motovidlak. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Arlene Bankovich, Dallas, with whom she resided; son, John E. Motovidlak and his wife, Doris, Wittman, Maryland; grandchildren, Paul Bankovich of Plymouth; Dawn Pipkin and her husband, Thomas of Baltimore, Md.; Jeffrey J. Bankovich of Shickshinny; John Motovidlak and his wife, April of Wittman, Md.; great-grandchildren, Macy and Myka Motovidlak, and Julian and Elliot Pipkin. Funeral services will be held today at 10:30 a.m. from the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 North Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Pioneer Avenue, Shavertown.The Reverend James Paisley, pastor, will be celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary's Maternity Cemetery, West Wyoming. Family and friends may call today from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Margaret's family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Alan Boonin for his caring professional service, and also wishes to express their gratitude to Associated Family and the Compassionate recent care of Hospice Community Care and the Meadows Nursing Center.
