Rebecca Dudkiewicz Obituary

Rebecca Dudkiewicz, 64, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Wilkes-Barre on November 24, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Mildred Burke Novitski. She was educated in the Wilkes-Barre public schools. Rebecca greatly loved her grandchildren and enjoyed playing bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Dudkiewicz Sr., on January 1, 2005; brother Nicholas (Jimmy) Moses; stepmother Georgia Novitski Amos; and granddaughter Danielle Marie Hunter. Surviving are son Bernard Dudkiewicz Jr. and his companion, Dana Kendreth, of Larksville; daughters Joann Dudkiewicz Marcincavage and her husband, Timothy Marcincavage Sr., of Kingston, and Gail Dudkiewicz Krzywicki of Larksville; brother Anthony Novitski; sisters Mildred Lipovsky, Betty Gibbons and Mary Ann Nekraz; grandchildren Holly Lynn Chihany, Timothy Marcincavage, Leanna Marcincavage, Paige Marcincavage, Lisa Marie Krzywicki, Jolene Krzywicki, Nicole Kendreth and James Kendreth. A Blessing Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Stanley S. Stegura Funeral Home Inc., 614 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call today from 5 to 8 p.m.
