Robert E. Clark Jr. of Dover, Del., passed away, on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012.
He was born in Wilmington, Del., and attended Friends School and Fork Union Military Academy before receiving his BS from Dickinson College and his law degree from GW University. He worked for E.I. Dupont Co., the Joseph W. Riley Co., and later owned and managed JB Clark's Fine Eatery in Dallas, Pa. After moving back to Delaware, in 2008, he volunteered for the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and Faithful Friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Elliott Clark and Helen Michael Clark as well as his wife, Alice Adamson Clark.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Janice Brobyn Riley Clark; daughter, Kim McFetridge, and husband Bill; son, Robert Lane Clark, and partner Stephan Miescher; stepdaughter, Vivian Kessler, and husband John; stepson, Gregory Riley, and wife Shea; grandchildren, Joshua VanScoy, Lia Riley, Cadden Riley, and a future grandson, who is due in March.
Bob will be sorely missed by his pets.
A celebration of Bob's joyous and happy life will be held at a future date.
