Veronica A. Pepe, 65, of Exeter, passed away on Saturday morning at her home.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Veronica Kowalski Kowanick. She was a graduate of West Scranton High School. Veronica was a member of St. Barbara Parish at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter, where she had volunteered as a CCD teacher. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a bank teller with the PNC Bank, West Pittston.
Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Thomas Pepe; and daughters, Pamela and her husband, Frank Braccini, West Pittston, and Ann and her husband, Brian Cook, Jenkins Township; grandchildren Victoria, F.J. and Brianna Braccini and Matthew and Gianna Cook, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 28 Memorial St., Exeter.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
