Wesley E. Krout, 65, of Edwardsville, beloved husband of Linda (Adamski) Krout for 35 years, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 03, 2013.

Born in Alexandria, Va., May 14, 1947, he was a son of the late Ruth (Traver) and Raymond Heeter. He was a graduate of Kingston High School, and worked for many years at Procter & Gamble.

Wesley was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce (Krout) Walko.

Besides his wife, Linda, Wes is survived by his daughters, Linda (Krout) Suda and her husband, Curt Suda, Edwardsville, and Lori (Krout) Evarts and her husband, JW Evarts, Easton; granddaughters, Rachel, Caitlyn and Paige Suda; granddogs, Najeh and Storm; brothers, George Krout, Wilkes-Barre; Robert McDougal, Wilkes-Barre; Dave Krout, Kingston, and Howard Krout, Germany; brother-in-law, Mike Walko, S.C.

Wesley had a heart of gold, a helping hand and a smile for everyone. Poppy always had time for an art project, a game of "go fish," or a hug and a lap to sit in. Wes was a warm, generous man, and will be missed beyond measure by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Kopicki Funeral Home, 263 Zerbey Ave., Kingston. Interment will be in the Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA of Luzerne County, 524 E. Main St., Fox Hill Road, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702
