WYOMING — Leota G. Fulkersin, 93, of Wyoming, passed away Feb. 20, 2014, in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Pittston, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Carolyn Adams Griffin. She was a graduate of Pittston High School, class of 1938.
Mrs. Fulkersin resided in Pittston before relocating to Wyoming in 1945.
Prior to her retirement she was employed at Townend Furniture for 28 years.
She was a member of the Pittston United Methodist Church and the Frances Slocum No. 194 Daughters of America and was also a member of the Methodist Women.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Billy B. Fulkersin, and brothers, Lester, Adam, Willis and Donald Griffin.
Surviving is her son, Roy Fulkersin Sr. and his wife, Ruby, Trucksville; grandson, Roy Fulkersin Jr., Easton, Md.; nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday in the Metcalfe-Shaver-Kopcza Funeral Home Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with the Rev. Lynn Tompkins officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Shrine Park, Carverton. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to services.
