NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. — Harold J. Richardson, 81, passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at Willow Creek Rehabilitation and Care Center, Somerset, N.J.

Born in Plains Township, he was a son of the late Harold J. and Doris Miller Richardson. He had lived in Kingston before moving to North Brunswick, N.J.. He was a graduate of Kingston High School.

Mr. Richardson was well known in Kingston, where he was involved in school activities. The one place he also called home was Harveys Lake, where he enjoyed many memorable days at the lake.

Harold was a supervisor of material control with The Wall Street Journal-Dow Jones, retiring in 1992.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Trenton American Legion. He was also a member of Kingston Lodge 395 F & AM.

Surviving are a daughter, Dawn Sudano, and her husband, James, Skillman, N.J.; a son, Todd Richardson, and his wife, Lisa, Princeton, N.J.; grandchildren, Taylor and Brandon Richardson, and Gavin and Cole Sudano.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with the Rev. Dr. William Lewis officiating. Interment will be in Mount Greenwood Cemetery, Trucksville. Friends may call 10 a.m. to funeral Wednesday.
