SWOYERSVILLE — Paul Cebrick, 88, a resident of Swoyersville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, March 11, 2014, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Plains Township.

Paul is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary (Konopka) Cebrick; his children, Barry Cebrick and his wife, Diane, Larksville, Christine Konnick and her husband, Robert, Forty Fort; his grandchildren, Christopher Cebrick and his wife, Jennifer, Cassandra Cebrick and her fiance, Will Febish, and Craig Cebrick and his fiancee, Janel Suda; his great-grandchildren, Mason, Anthony, Matthew, Aiden and Addison; his brother, A. Henry Cebrick and his wife, Dolores, Swoyersville; his sister, Louise Stacy and her husband, Edward, Mountainside, N.J.; and several generations of nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Saturday from the Wroblewski Funeral Home Inc., 1442 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, followed by an Office of Christian Burial with Divine Liturgy to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 271 Tripp St., Swoyersville, with the Rev. Gary Mensinger, his pastor, officiating. Interment with the rite of committal will follow in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Dallas, where military honors will be accorded by the U.S. Navy. Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Parastas services will be celebrated privately Friday evening for immediate family members.
