HUNTINGTON TWP. — Clara R. Fetch, 86, a resident of Huntington Township, Shickshinny, passed away at her home on April 21, 2014.
Surrounded by her three loves, her family, her farm and her faith, Clara R. Fetch passed away April 21, leaving her legacy in the hearts of those whom she selflessly and unconditionally loved. She lived her life with an elegant simplicity that is truly appreciated only by those whose riches are measured by the way in which they enrich the lives of others. Showing her quiet strength, she has assured those whom she leaves behind that she will be OK.
She was preceded in death by husband, George Fetch, and brother George Peard.
She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Helen Leimbach and her husband, Dean, Huntington Mills, and Eileen Pollock and her husband, Ken; son, George Fetch, Huntington Milles; grandchildren, Stefanie, Whitney and Ken; sister, Marie Kambies, Wilmington, Del.; brother Jim Peard, Frisco, Texas; as well as nieces and nephews.
Clara was a member of St. Martha Church and past Eucharistic minister; also a member and past officer of the Willing Hands Quilters. She was an avid birdwatcher and gardener and also enjoyed walking and reading. Clara loved caring for her dog, Nikki.
Funeral services with a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Martha Church, 260 Bonnieville Road, Stillwater. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to service. Interment will be in Scott Cemetery, Huntington Township, Waterton Road, Shickshinny.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Wilkes-Barre Association for the Blind, 1825 Wyoming Ave., Exeter, PA 18643.
