DALLAS — Susan Johnson-Fielding (Trudy Spencer) was called to heaven.
Her "traveling companion," Randy Howard, will keep her cross-country skis and beach chair until he sees her again.
Her apple pie and chocolate chip cookies will be greatly missed by her three children and their spouses (Pam Johnson and Keith Weaver; Jenipher and Lisa Johnson; and Thom and Carol Johnson). But the joy she saw in life will live on in her five grandchildren (Alexa, Cody, David, Grace and Matt). Sue will also live on in her mother, Ann, and her siblings, Karen, Charles, and most of all, Scott.
Sue loved her job and her co-workers at the social security administration; she traveled to Cape May for the last 2 and 1/2 decades; and danced every time she heard bluegrass.
The world was blessed to have her in it and the sun shines a little dimmer now that she's gone.
Her life and ripples it made will be celebrated Tuesday at the Lehman-Idetown United Methodist Church with calling hours from 10:00 to 11:00 and memorial services at 11:00 and will be followed up with Guinness at Grotto's.
She loved well and was well loved.
She was not a fan of cut flowers but has made donations to the
