DALLAS — Helen M. Woznicki, 98, of Dallas, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014, at The Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas.
Born in Edwardsville, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Halka Szela. She had moved to the Back Mountain in 1936. She was an inspector with Natona Mills and had also worked at Linear and Singer companies. Helen was a member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. She loved to sew and crochet.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Walter W. Woznicki, in 1989; and brothers, Stanley, Frank, John, Ted and Joe Szela.
She is survived by sons, Walter and Theodore Woznicki, both of Dallas; daughter, Mary Richard, and her husband. George, Dallas.
Helen's family thanks Dr. Jane Durkin and the staff at The Meadows Nursing Center for their kind and considerate care of Helen.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with Deacon Thomas Cesarini, officiating. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call 10 a.m. until the time of service.
