Clem Kuras

DALLAS — Clem Kuras, 81, of Dallas, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at The Meadows Nursing Center.

He was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Gutauskas Kuras and was a graduate of Meyers High School. Clem was a corrections officer with Chase Prison and was a member of Daddow Isaacs American Legion, Post 672, Dallas.

Surviving are sons, David Kuras and his wife, Julianne, Keller, Texas, Gary Kuras, Dallas; and daughter, Linda Newton, Dallas; grandchildren, Stephanie Newton and Kimberly Kuras; great-grandaughter, Megan Newton; sister, Tillie Godleski; and brother, Victor Zekas.

Burial will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday at St Ann's RC Cemetery, Lehman. Anyone attending the service is to go directly to the cemetery. Mr. Kura's family is inviting all to The Fern Brook Inn for a luncheon to follow the service.
