WILKES-BARRE — Robert J. Schuster, 79, of the Parsons section of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at his home after a lengthy illness.

A member of St. Benedict's Parish and the Parsons Community League and Crime Watch, he also served on the Wilkes-Barre Plumbing Examining Board for 30 years.

Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman. He thoroughly enjoyed his annual fishing trips to Canada with his buddies. His grandchildren looked forward to his Jaje parties when they visited him. He also enjoyed watching Penn State football every Fall…he was one of their BIGGEST fans.
