Joseph J. Sipper, 64, of Hunlock Creek and formerly of Wyoming, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born on March 14, 1945, in Wyoming, he was a son the late John and Helen Mikolaichik Sipper. He was currently employed by Postupack Painting in Wilkes-Barre.
He is survived by his son, Joe, Dallas, Texas; daughter Gina Svoboda, Scranton; grandchildren Daphne and Nathan Sipper; brother John, Connecticut; sisters Agnes Busacco, Mt. Cobb, Pa.; Patricia Race, Taylor; Marion Kruszka, Swoyersville; former wife Lea Sipper Hurley, Swoyersville; nieces and nephews.

Joe, also known as Zipper, was a good man who gave to those who had no one to give to them.
Funeral arrangements will be private.
