Anna T. Puscavage, 88, of West Pittston, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born September 22, 1921, in West Pittston, she was a daughter of the late Enoch and Mary Sherba Barnowski. Anna was a former member of Immaculate Conception Church, West Pittston. She worked many years at the Consolidated Cigar Factory in West Pittston. Anna traveled all over on many vacations with her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook, play cards with her family, watch old movies and go to bingo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Puscavage; daughter, Ann Marie Booth; sisters, Della Davis, Rose Barnowski and Katherine Martin; daughter-in-law, Beverly Puscavage; one granddaughter; two grandsons; and one great-grandson. Anna is survived by sons, Charles Puscavage and wife, Evelyn, Wilkes-Barre; Jacob Puscavage, Edwardsville; Leo Puscavage, West Pittston; daughter, Rosemary and her husband, Chris Seidta, Moscow. She was very blessed to have a large family and is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; 39 great-great grandchildren; seven nephews; and one niece. Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from the Kizis-Lokuta Funeral Home, 134 Church St., Pittston. Mr. Peter Lyndan will officiate. Interment will be in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Pittston. Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
