Harriett Youells, 87, a resident of the Hampton House, formerly of Plymouth, passed away in Geisinger Wyoming Valley on Thursday, January 13, 2011. She was born July 13, 1923, in Larksville, and was a daughter of the late David and Eva Zimmerman Smith. Harriet was employed at the Cigar Factory until the birth of her daughter. She devoted her life to her family. She touched many hearts and will be remembered for her kind, caring and loving personality. She enjoyed playing Bingo. She was a member of Christ Fellowship in Plymouth. Her daughter and grandchildren held her hands as she reached for her husband's hand to meet the Lord. Harriet was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore; and her brother, Charles Fravel. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Eroh; and son-in-law, Jim Eroh, Plymouth; grandchildren, Justin and Heather; great-grandchildren, Carter and Mckenzie Wanyo; and nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from the Williams-Hagen Funeral Home, 114 W. Main St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Francis Parmenteri officiating. Interment will be held in Edge Hill Cemetery, West Nanticoke. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
