Raymond W. Yale, 56, a resident of Swoyersville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, Nov. 6, 2012, at his residence.

Born on Sept. 23, 1956, in Kingston, Raymond was a son of Jeannette (Schultz) Yale, of Swoyersville.

A United States Army veteran, Raymond honorably served his country during peacetime.

Raymond was currently employed as a metal fabricator for Inter Metro Industries Corporation, Wilkes-Barre.

He was a member of the American Legion, Andrew Lawrence Post 644, Swoyersville, where he actively volunteered at the legion's many functions.

Raymond had many enjoyments in life, especially carpentry and NASCAR. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother, Jeannette Yale, Raymond is survived by his children, Derek Robbins, of Swoyersville; Melanie Terraccino and her husband, Anthony, of Drums; his grandchildren, Madelyn, Gabriela, Dominic; his sister, Diane Sabolchick, of Swoyersville; his nephews, Dylan Thomas and John Mahalek.

Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Blessing Service, which will be conducted on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Wroblewski Funeral Home Inc., 1442 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with the Rev. Joseph J. Pisaneschi, pastor of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville, officiating. Interment will be privately held in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Swoyersville. Family and Friends are invited to call on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
