Adam E. Sarwinski Jr., age 84, passed away Dec. 20, 2012 in Naples, Fla.
Adam was born on July 26, 1928, in Nanticoke and was a beloved son of the late Adam Sr. and Helen Sarwinski and brother to the late Therese Michalek, who all preceded him in death.
Adam retired from the United States Navy, serving proudly for 20 years. Adam later worked at Red Rock Commissary in Benton, Pa. and Tobyhanna Army Depot in Tobyhanna. His plans were to settle in Naples, Fla., walk the beach and watch the sunsets at Wiggins Pass State Park with his wife, Marie.
Adam is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marie Rominski-Sarwinski; daughters Sandra Sarwinski, Naples, Fla.; Donna Snider (Scott Snider), Dallas; his grandchildren, Adam Snider, Arlington, Va.; Cassandra (Chris Edelman) Edelman, Clearwater, Fla., and Ali Snider, Dallas. Adam is also survived by several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, many dear nieces and nephews, and many, many friends who knew him as "Pop." He will be missed by all and in our thoughts and prayers forever.
