Upon her return to Pennsylvania, she was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

It was a wonderful life filled with love, travel, adventure, close friendships and, most cherished, her family.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, son Richard A. Edwards, Courtland, N.Y.; grandsons Eric and Brent Edwards, Courtland, N.Y., and Montreal, Canada; great-grandchildren, Zavier and Simon Edwards, Kaci and Alli Edwards; son Ralph B. Edwards, Huntsville; granddaughters, Erin Windt Edwards, Louisville, Conn., and Meredith Edwards, Jackson Hole, Wyo.; great-grandchildren Courtney and Andrew Windt; daughter, Carolyn Edwards Tardif, Marietta, Ga.; and grandson Thomas Tardif, Atlanta, Ga.
