REDDINGTON Valerie (Valerie Gaunt, Hammer Films) died peacefully on 27th November 2016, aged 84. Much-loved wife of Gerald for 58 years. Funeral on Friday 2nd December, at 12.30pm, at St Peter's Church, Seaview, Isle of Wight, followed by burial at St Helens. Family only flowers please and Gerald would be thrilled for any donations to be given to The Garrick Charitable Trust Fund, 020 7836 1737. A Wonderful performance in Dracula and has endured since then

Sorry to see her go. I wish she had made more films but more importantly, I hope she had a good life. As long as Hammer Films are shown all over the world, she will never be forgotten.

A stunning beauty and a very good actress; she has a huge fan following because of her performance in the first Christopher Lee Dracula as the Vampire Woman. She became through the years to fans of the film, a holy grail, to find and interview. Her surviving family should publish a book of photos of her throughout her life and it would become a best seller. To her family I send them my condolences. Her date of death is sad to you but to her and to God it is the date that she entered Heaven.
