McAfee, M. Suzzanne  
M. Suzzanne McAfee 1929-2016 86, of Carrollton, Ohio died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in Aultman Hospital, following a brief illness. She was born in Carrollton, Ohio, May 23, 1929, daughter of the late Burtis G. Lumley and Galestan Wilson Lumley. She was a member of the Carrollton United Methodist Church, having served in local and district United Methodist Women. Mrs. McAfee retired from Huebner Chevrolet in 1996. She was also a Tour Host with Educational Opportunities tours for 15 years, and employee of Carrollton School District and the former Surety Rubber Company. Surviving are a son, Bradley (Dotty Escott) McAfee of Carrollton; a daughter, Vickie (Tom) Toussant of Pittsboro, Ind.; a step-daughter, Gail McEver of Villa Rica, Ga.; three sisters, Gloaquin (Richard) Rector, Dr. Julie Shuman, Dr. Deborah D. Lumley all of Carrollton; sister-in-law, Pat Lumley; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Ralph) Havens of Deming, Washington, Eric (Dana) Toussant of Pittsboro, Ind., Becky (Mike) Rubin of Austin, Texas; three step-grandchildren, Angie (Louis) Gore of Villa Rica, Ga., Dana (Dan) Trowell of Dalton, Ga., James Hefner of Dalton, Ga.; five great-grandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, W. Raymond McAfee; brothers, Rev. Jack Lumley and David Glenn Lumley. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 12 noon in Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton with Rev. Dan Loomis officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. McCleary, Larry E.  
Larry E. McCleary 1940-2016 of Uhrichsville, passed peacefully, on April 22, 2016 in the care of Community Hospice House, following a lengthy illness. Born August 12, 1940 in Guernsey County, he was a son of the late Emma Oliver and Clyde McCleary. He graduated from Madison High School. On August 6, 1961, he married the former Linda Kinsey at the Feed Spring Presbyterian Church. Together they enjoyed over 55 years of marriage. His work career included Larson Clay Pipe, Associated Grocers, Dover Chemical, selling farm machinery, auctioneering, and in his retirement years, measuring for floor installations for his son, Dan. Larry was very active in the community being a former Rush Township Trustee, a Tuscarawas County fair board member, announcer for dairy and beef cattle shows, and was a member of Pleasant Grove UMC. He enjoyed farming and music and his distinct voice and talents were used to call square dances and sing. His love for music brought him to work with many local musicians and he loved the music of the Family Traditions Band, all of whom are members of his family. Larry is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, Dan (Stephanie) McCleary, Dave (Ann) McCleary; daughter, Leigh (companion, Scott Grove) Maple; he was "Pappy" to his grandchildren, Andrew McCleary, Brianne and Heath Maple, Emily and Kelsey McCleary, and Chelsea and Ciara Grove; great-grandson, Carter Daniel McCleary; brother, Floyd (Ruth) McCleary; sister, Sharon (Dale) Ward; sisters-in-law, Kathlee n McCleary, Donna Laughlin, Pat (Tom) Wells; brother-in-law, Jon (Kris) Kinsey; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by an infant brother, George McCleary; brother, Harry McCleary; brothers-in-law, Bill Laughlin and Bob McKibben; sister-in-law Ronna McKibben; and nephew, Jeff McCleary. Larry lived a dedicated life and loved the rural way of living, supporting 4-H activities with his family his entire life. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. A private family service will be held. Interment will be in Deersville's Union-Patterson Cemetery. Those wishing to honor his memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to Pleasant Grove Church, Tuscarawas Co. 4-H Committee for the youth and Community Hospice. R.K. Moyer, Geraldine Donna  
Geraldine "Donna" Moyer age 78, of Carrollton, Ohio, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio. She was born May 28, 1937, the daughter of Clarence and Lauvada (Thomas) Dowdell. She was employed at Scio Pottery and later did home health care.. She married Raymond G. Moyer Oct. 18, 1963 and he passed away Oct. 6, 2011. Donna played the guitar and liked country music. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, Byron Melville of Kensington, Ohio, Bill (Cherie) Melville of Dellroy, Ohio and Walter Keith (Lisa) Moyer of Carrollton, Ohio; a daughter, Shelia (Michael) Walters of Bridgeport, Ohio; a step-daughter, Romona (Randy) Thomas; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Preceding her was her parents; a son, Raymond Moyer Jr. and by 12 brothers and sisters including her twin sister, Kathleen Allender, Burial will take place at a later date.
