Angelozzi, Conchet - Dennison  
Chetty and Frederick Angelozzi "Together Again" Conchet Marie "Chetty" Angelozzi 89, of Dennison, passed away Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014 at Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia after a long period of declining health. Born Sept. 19, 1925 in Yorkville, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Antoinette (Guzzi) Feri. A resident of the Twin City area throughout her life, Chetty was a 1943 graduate of Dennison High School where she had been active in many organizations, including cheerleading and basketball. She was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Church and its Altar Society, and she enjoyed playing Bingo to help support her parish and its school. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who had also worked at Hart's Family Center in New Philadelphia for 17 years in the 60s and 70s. On Aug. 30, 1947, Chetty married Frederick J. Angelozzi with whom she enjoyed nearly 50 years of marriage until his passing Feb. 14, 1996. They are survived by two sons, Daniel F. (Lynn) Angelozzi of Uhrichsville and Michael A. (Margene) Angelozzi of Tippecanoe; grandchildren: Ierlee (Jim) Wozniak, Danielle (Seth) Lurie, Alisa (Brian) Tobin, Michelle (fiancé, Justin) Angelozzi, and Joseph (companion, Kelsey) Angelozzi; and great-grandchildren, Tyson and Jackson Lurie, Marissa Wozniak, Kenedi and Riley Cesnak, Jonathan Fritter, and Kyler and Mikaela Tobin. She is also survived by a sister, Lena Hart of Dennison; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Lucas Young; brothers, Ralph, Anthony, and Joseph Feri; and sisters, Rose Lecce and Josephine Vinci. Father Tyron Tomson will celebrate the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, in Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison. Interment will follow beside her beloved husband in St. Mary's Cemetery near Dennison. Visitation will be 4 -7 p.m. Monday in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison with a Christian Wake service held at 6:45pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Elementary and Community Hospice. R.K. Avon, Mabel Irene  
"Together Again" Mabel Irene Avon 83, of Dover, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014 in Union Hospital at Dover. She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Lucille (Miller) Kinsey. Mabel graduated as the Salutatorian of the 1949 graduating class of Gnadenhutten High School. For more than 17 years, she was employed as the Employment Service Supervisor for the Bureau of Employment Services at New Philadelphia. She also worked for a short time as a realtor and as a desk clerk at the Tuscarawas County YMCA. Mabel was a member of the First Christian Church at New Philadelphia. She enjoyed caring for plants and flowers as well as tending to her yard. Mabel also enjoyed shopping and visiting restaurants in the "Amish Country". She was an avid pianist and during her teenage years she served as the Sunday School pianist at Fry's Valley Moravian Church. Mabel also enjoyed walking at New Towne Mall for more than 20 years with her late husband. She is survived by her daughter, Laura (Joe Tedesco) Avon of New Philadelphia; a grandson, Keith (Kim) Avon of Dover; eight great-grandchildren, Danielle, Dylan, Darren, Diedra and Chantz all of Dover, Trent, Lyrissa and Leann of Marion; two great-great grandchildren, Alana and Bentlee of Marion; two step-grandsons; several step-great-grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Patricia Avon. Mabel was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert E. Avon who passed away on May 10, 2014; a son, Gary L. Avon; two sisters and two brothers. Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014 (TODAY) from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Borton officiating. Burial will follow in East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia. Beiter, Darrell P. - Newcomerstown  
Darrell Preston "Noey" Beiter 82 of Newcomerstown, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville. He was born Tuesday, Sept. 13, 1932 in Newcomerstown to the late Preston and Kathrine "Blatt" Beiter. He was a 1950 Newcomerstown High School graduate. He was a US Navy veteran serving from Aug. 12, 1950 until July 13, 1953 and retired from General Tire, Newcomerstown in 1994. He was member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Newcomerstown. On Wednesday, July 28, 1954 he married Carol J. "Skip" (Stocker) Beiter, who survives. He is also survived by one daughter, Debra Lynn Hill and her husband Mike of West Lafayette; one son, Jerry Bryce Beiter of West Lafayette; two grandchildren, Ryan (Kayla) Miller and Dirk (Lindsay) Beiter; two step-grandchildren, Ryan (Nikki) Hill and Ben (Liz) Hill; three sisters, Martha Shaffer of Newcomerstown, Judy Farris of Newcomerstown and Patsy Galion of New Philadelphia. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Beiter; and one grandson, Todd Miller. Private family graveside services at West Lawn Cemetery will be held at a later date, with Pastor Don Siverthorn officiating. Beitzel, Christine R.  
Christine Rae Beitzel 59, of New Philadelphia, went home to be with the Lord Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 in the Cleveland Clinic following a courageous battle with a brief illness and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A daughter of the late Wayne and Rosemary (Burford) Smith, Christine was born Feb. 12, 1955 at Dover, Ohio. Christine graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1973. Then on Sept. 8, 1973, she married Steven Beitzel and together the couple raised four children, Nathan, Steven Jr., Heather and Kristen. She was a member of the First Church of the Brethren at New Philadelphia. For more than ten years, she enjoyed her work at Uncle Primo's. Christine cherished the time spent with her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling to the ocean and fishing and camping in Michigan with her family. In her spare time she enjoyed flowers, gardening and painting. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Steve; her children, Nathan Beitzel, Steven Beitzel Jr., Heather (Michael) Harper and Kristen all of New Philadelphia; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Braydon; her siblings, Gayle (David) Mack of New Philadelphia, Diane (Dick) West of New Philadelphia and James (Lisa) Smith of Columbus; her mother-in-law, Priscilla Beitzel of New Philadelphia and many nieces and nephews. Christine was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law, Earl Beitzel and her sister-in-law, Amy Beitzel. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Christine's life will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Max Canfield officiating. Burial will follow in Dover Burial Park. Following the service a luncheon will be held in the First Church of the Brethren.
