Ada A. Raber
77, of 3809 TR 157 Sugarcreek, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at her residence following a long illness. She was born March 8, 1937 in Wayne County to the late Amos S. and Malinda (Gingerich) Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by her husband, Mose A. Raber whom she married March 15, 1962; six children, Edward (Mary Esther) Raber of Sugarcreek, Allen (Esther) Raber of the home, Elsie (Rueben) Yoder, Barbara Ann (Darrel) Raber, Ivan (Laura) Raber and David (Iva) Raber all of Sugarcreek; 32 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nine brothers and sisters, Eli (Katie) Miller of Apple Creek, Roy (Sarah) Miller of Fredericksburg, Emma Yoder of Holmesville, Susan (Levi) Troyer and Crist (Esther) Miller both of Apple Creek, Albert (Mary Mae) Miller of Millersburg, Anna (Jacob Jr.) Yoder of Holmesville, Vernon (Mattie) Miller of Dundee and Linda (Aden) Keim of Fredericksburg. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Roman and Atlee, two sisters, Fannie and Ella and twi brothers-in-law, Andy and Jacob.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 9 a.m. at the Raber Residence with Bishop Aden R. Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Raber Cemetery in Clark Twp., Holmes County. Friends may call anytime after 2 p.m. Thursday at the residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
