Eunice (Stevenson) Wilhelm
age 88 passed away on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013. She was born Feb. 23, 1924 in Beach City and lived in Massillon most of her life. She was a member of Canton Baptist Temple and the Jolly 60's, Isabella's, St. Mary Rosary Altar, and VWF Ladies Auxiliary Navarre Post #5047.
Eunice is survived by sons, Michael (Cheryl Chernis) Wilhelm of Wilmington, N.C., and Randy Wilhelm of Canton; daughters, Linda (Joseph) Langston of Ft. Worth, Texas and Carol (Richard) Mayhew of North Canton; and grandchildren, Ryan (Kristin) Mayhew of Oak Park, Ill., Melanie (John Rimel) Mayhew of Arlington, Va., and Allison Mayhew of Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Leroy Wilhelm who died Nov. 2, 1992; brothers, Samuel and John; and sisters, Lindessa, Helen, Meurice, and Audrey.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 at Heitger Funeral Home-Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. N.W., Massillon, 44646 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Heitger Funeral Home-Jackson Chapel with Rev. Delaney Young officiating. Burial will follow at Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre, Ohio.
