James A. Lupi
69, of Uhrichsville, died Saturday Dec. 21, 2013 at 2:47 p.m. in the Louis Stokes V.A. Hospital at Cleveland after a brief illness. Born Aug. 27, 1944 in Uhrichsville he was a son of the late Stanley C. and Dorothy (Snedeker) Lupi. He was a 1963 graduate of Uhrichsville High School and was an Air force Veteran having served in Viet Nam. Jim was Methodist by faith and enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
He is survived by his companion Rebecca Sanner of Uhrichsville; a daughter Jessica Lupi and her fiance' Cody Halter of Uhrichsville; two sisters Beverly (Gerald) Yakley of Sugarcreek and Patti (Tom) Feeney of Strasburg; two brothers Dick Lupi of Uhrichsville and Tom (Carol) Lupi of Dover; a special nephew Scott Lupi of Dover, several other nieces and nephews and his cat Peaches. In additon to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant brother David Lupi.
In keeping with Jim's wishes cremation has taken place and a family gathering and memorial will be held at a later date. The Lebold-Smith Funeral Home at Bolivar is handling the arrangements. To share a memory and sing the guest register please visit the funeral home's web site.
