Mary D. Chupp
83 of 3839 CR 135 Millersburg died Saturday, March 22, 2014 at her residence following a short illness. She was born on April 30, 1930 in Holmes County to the late Dan J.B. and Ida (Hershberger) Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jacob E. Chupp whom she married Nov. 30, 1952; her two daughters, Dora Chupp of Millersburg, Linda (Marvin) Erb of the home, three sons, John (Erma) Chupp of Dundee, Leon (Esta) Chupp of Millersburg and Leroy (Loretta) Chupp of Dundee, 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one sister, Susie (Eli) Detweiler of Indiana; and sister-in-law, Vesta Miller. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers; one sister-in-law; one infant granddaughter; and one grandson.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 9 a.m. at the Chupp Residence with Bishop Marvin Coblentz. Burial will be in Raber Cemetery in Walnut Creek Twp., Holmes County. Friends may call anytime after 1 p.m. Sunday at the Chupp Residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
