Age 85, of Clover, S.C., and formerly of Dover, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014. Born in Canton, Ohio, Bill was the son of the late William O. Phillips, Sr. and Leonora Camphausen Phillips Amick. He was the retired co-owner of PW Associates and served stateside in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Bill was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary (Zwick) Phillips of Rock Hill; his children: Pamela (Charles) Mizer of New Philadelphia, William (Karin) Phillips of Augusta Ga., Deb (Terry) Immel of Dover, Mary Phillips of Clover, Tom (Mary) Phillips, Robert (Debi) Phillips and Teresa (Tracy) Evans, all of Rock Hill; his half-sister, Kathleen Phillips, and step-sister, Patricia Darnell; 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his step-sister, Jackie Kisner.
Graveside services were held in Clover, S.C., on March 10, 2014. Memorials may be made in Mr. Phillips' name to Saint Mary's Catholic Church, P.O. Box 11982, Rock Hill, S.C. 29731.
