Betty Lou Anson
Age 81, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Community
Hospice House in New Philadelphia.
Born on Dec. 25, 1933, in Uhrichsville, Betty was the daughter of the late Charles Warren and Margaret (Johnson) Anson. She was a lifelong resident of the area, and was employed for 27 years in the computer room at Twin City Hospital in Dennison. Betty was a member of the Uhrichsville First United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by a brother, Charles Robert Anson; and a sister, Carol (Anson) Healea.
Betty is survived by her only child, daughter, Wendy (Wagner) Ellwood of Uhrichsville; and three grandchildren: Erica (Jeff) Grieson, Ashley Haverfield and Maggie Haverfield.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m., on Sunday, March 29, 2015, at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville. No services will be observed. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Tuscarawas County, 716 Commercial Ave. S.W., New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the excellent care everyone gave to her during her stay at the Hospice House.
