Having been the oldest of seven children during the Depression and World War II, Freda was grateful for the blessings of success in her adulthood. She never wanted to see others struggle and she was always willing to help in any capacity. She also had a talent for turning leftover food into great meals and desserts. Freda took great joy in playing the piano, having played regularly for 73 years in the churches she attended. A faithful servant of God, she gave and served generously. She also held the roles of Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Superintendent and Choir Director at different times in her life.
