Glenn Alan Henry
age 65, of Dover, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic. Alan was born August 6, 1949 in Erie, Pa., to the late Helene (Bryson) and Forest Glenn Henry. He retired as a Shop Foreman with Merit Plastics. He loved music and played guitar. Alan taught motorcycle safety classes for over 20 years and was a member of the HOG (Harley Owner's Group) of Dover, Ohio. Alan was a kind soul who was always helping family and neighbors in need.
On Dec. 16, 1978, he married Karen Sue McMillin in Sligo, Clarion County, Pa.; the daughter of Richard and Joann (Moore) McMillin. They had no children. Alan is survived by three brothers, Patrick John (Barbara), Richard Reeves (Phoebe), and Warren Wayne (Valerie); and two sisters, Karen Ann Henry and Darlene Kaye (Mike) Rohrer.
The family will receive guests Friday, March 27, 2015 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 161 North Canton Rd. (330-784-3334) where Funeral Services will begin at noon. Graveside Services will follow at 2 p.m. at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, Cleveland, OH. In lieu of flowers please contribute to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
