63 of Wilmot passed away, Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 at Affinity, Massillon after a sudden illness. She was born at Canton, the daughter of Willlamae Kennedy Kyle and the late Robert Kyle and had been a life resident and a graduate of Fairless High School, class of 1968. Gretchen had been a beautician at Nan's Beauty Shop, Wilmot for 15 years and grill cook at Hershey's Creme Chalet 21 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Beach City and a charter member of Women of Brewster Moose.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Gerald J. Hostetler whom she married Feb. 5, 1972; three brothers, James (Vicky) Kyle, Phillip (Pam) Kyle, Tim (Cheryl) Kyle, all of Beach City; canine companion, Bella and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held, Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home with Pastor Jon Long officiating. Interment will be made in West Lawn Cemetery, Winesburg, Ohio. Friends may call Sunday, Oct. 7 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. To leave condolences, please sign the guest book at
