A resident of Tuscarawas County throughout his life, Harold was a member of First Baptist Church in New Philadelphia. He had worked for many years at Starlight Enterprises in their workshop. When Harold lived in New Philadelphia, he enjoyed walking uptown, talking to people, and going to First Town Days, parades and the Tuscarawas County Fair. He was a fan of the Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavaliers, and also liked to watch NASCAR races.
Harold will be deeply missed by his surviving family which includes his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara A. and Tom Septer of New Philadelphia; two nephews, Tom Septer, Jr. and his wife, Tina, and Tim Septer and his wife, Amy; great-nephews, Tommy III and Zachary Septer and Jarrod Durst. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Calvin L. "Butch" Dague with whom he had shared a home for many years.
The family would like to thank the nurses and nurses' aides on side two of Park Village Health Care Center for the wonderful care they gave Harold, as well as the Activities Department, Dr. McFadden and Marci Shutt. They would also like to thank Dr. Maaz Ahmed for providing such wonderful care when Harold was in the hospital over the years. They especially appreciate the New Philadelphia Fire Department for watching over Harold while he lived at home.
