Kenneth Kutcher Obituary

Kenneth J. Kutcher, 85, of Dover, O., died Thursday, May 13, 2010, in Aultman Hospital at Canton following a brief illness.

Ken was a retired truck driver for Eberhart Coal Co. in Dover, where he worked for over 47 years.

Born March 11, 1925, in Baltic, O., he was the son of the late William G. and Mary E. (Lower) Kutcher. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by a brother, Wade Kutcher, and two sisters, Ruth Martin and Anna Mae Rhon.

Ken was a longtime member of the First Moravian Church in Dover and was a former life member of the Dover Eagles Lodge. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II where he served in the European Theatre.

He is survived by his wife, Nadine (Trustdorf) Kutcher, with whom he would have celebrated 56 years of marriage on Sept. 4; three children, Larry (wife, Becky) Kutcher of Dover, Lori (husband, John) Rozycki of South Bend, Ind., and Timothy Kutcher of Louisville, Ky.; eight grandchildren, Patsy (husband, Ed) Raus, Brian J. (wife, Lori) Kutcher, Craig Kutcher, Jocelyn Rozycki, J. Matthew Rozycki, Heather, Timothy, and Zachary Kutcher along with four great grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by two brothers, Ward (wife, Elsie) Kutcher and Robert (wife, Ethel) Kutcher, both of New Philadelphia.

A funeral service celebrating Kenneth's life will be held Monday, May 17, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover with Pastor John Wallace officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. A reception will follow in the First Moravian Church at Dover. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. Those unable to attend or who may wish to express a fond memory of Ken may sign the online register book by visiting the obituaries link on the funeral home's Web site.
