My daughter is writing this for me because I am at Hennis; I am 90. Linda and I became best friends, and I gave her two rings because she was so kind and understanding to me. I would visit her room almost every evening and share candy and news of my family. Some nights I would leave news clippings about my daughter on Linda's night stand which Linda and I would discuss in the morning at breakfast. Sometimes, I wonder why I've lived this long and then I meet someone like Linda, and I realize I have met a new friend. She helped me face trying times, and I now know I helped her, too! My thoughts and prayers are with her sons, and I know she is now with her husband and infant daughter. Please pray for me also as I've lost my best friend here at Hennis.

A wonderful friend and neighbor is how I will remember Linda. Her family came first in all that she did. I am fortunate to have known her.
