Marie G. Hepner
of Carrollton. On April 28, 2013 our mother went to her heavenly home. She was born April 24, 1930 in Carrollton to the late Oscar and Golda (Carson) Lucas. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Ed) Burchfield, Debbie (Jim) Kelly of Harlem Springs; and one son, Rick of Newell, W.Va.; two brothers, Ralph (Dena) and Kenny (Jean) Lucas of Carrollton; three sisters, Corma Haas of Warner Robbins, Ga., Rachel (Emerson) Ludwig and Janice Place, both of Minerva; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Hepner; one daughter, Sandy Fawcett; one son, Tim Hepner; granddaughter, Shelli (Burchfield) DeSimons; half brothers, Homer and Andrew; brothers, Robert, Carl and Oscar Jr.; two sisters, Donna and Betty Hepner.
Marie retired from Carroll County Visiting Nurses in 1987, She was a member of the Carrollton Baptist Temple.
Calling hours will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Allmon Dugger Cotton Funeral Home. The funeral service will be May 1, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Allmon Dugger Cotton Funeral Home with Pastor David Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery.
