Mary Lou (Hefner) Ujcich

(1936-2018)

81, of Massillon, Ohio passed away on Friday, Aug. 3, 2018. She was born on Sept. 1, 1936 in Morgantown, W.Va., to the late Rev. Cledith Hefner (former pastor at the Dover Alliance Church) and Minerva (Arnold) Hefner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cledith Hefner and Minerva (Arnold) Hefner; her husband, William Ujcich; her son, Ronald Brown; and brothers, Carrollton Hefner, Frank Hefner, and David Hefner. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Brady Jr (Judy) of Pahrump, Nev., Mark Brady (Catherine) of Canton, Ohio, Robert Brown, Jr (Debra) of West Salem, Ohio; and daughter, Deirdre (Brown) Margulis (Charles) of Massillon, Ohio as well as her brothers, Joseph Hefner of Cleveland Ohio, Milton Olssen of Michigan, and Jonathan Hefner of Hudson, Wis; and sisters, Maysel (Hefner) Moser of Dover, Ohio, Anna Hefner of Louisville, Ohio and Adele (Hefner) Harrod of Raleigh, N.C. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Mary Lou loved the beach, loved spending time with her grandchildren, and was a huge NASCAR fan. A celebration of her life will be held on August 18 at 11 a.m. at the Dover Alliance Church in Dover, Ohio.
