Mose A. Schlabach 1944-2018

73, of 8265 Winklepleck Road Dundee passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at his home following a period of declining health. He was born September 29, 1944 in Tuscarawas County to the late Abe and Mary (Mullet) Schlabach. He was ordained Minister in 1979 and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He is survived by his wife, the former Elmina Miller whom he married on July 24, 1969. He also leaves to mourn three daughters and two sons, Doris Ann Miller of Millersburg, Emery (Vernita) Schlabach, Eddie (Cheryl) Schlabach and Twila (Dan) Erb all of Dundee, and Marilyn (Michael) Miller of Sugarcreek; 20 grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers, John (Sara) Schlabach of Shipshewana, Ind., Ivan (Elsie) Schlabach of Sugarcreek, Aden (Ella) Schlabach of Winesburg, Dale (Mae) Schlabach of Sugarcreek, Dean (Anna) Schlabach, and Reuben (Esther) Schlabach of Sugarcreek; his sister, Rosanna Schlabach of Sugarcreek and sister-in-law, Mary Schlabach of Sugarcreek. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two brothers, Daniel and Abe; his In-laws, Jonas JB and Catherine (Slabaugh) Miller and four brothers-in-law.

Services will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at the Schlabach Residence with Bishop Dennis Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Miller-Burkholder Cemetery. Friends may call any time after 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Friday at the Residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
