Ronald E. Caley
Age 74, of East Sparta, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Coshocton, Ohio, a son of the late Thurman and Winifred (Dawson) Caley, has resided in East Sparta 28 years, previously Zoar and Alliance. Ron was a member of the Coshocton High School Class of 1958. He retired from Dart Oil Co. of Colorado after 30 years service, where he was Production Supervisor, previously worked 10 years for B & W in research. He also had worked in the oil fields earlier in life. Ron was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
Survived by his wife, Cheryl (Beshore) Caley, with whom he celebrated their 27th Wedding Anniversary on Dec. 4, 2014; two daughters and a son-in-law, Lori Schlaugh, of Millersburg, and Laura and David Dotson, Sr., of East Sparta; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Amy Caley, of Cambridge, Jeffrey Beshore and Jerry Beshore, both of East Sparta; one brother and sister-in-law, Terrence and Karen Caley, of Fresno, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A PRIVATE Memorial Service will be held Sat. at 10 a.m. in Asbury United Methodist Church with Pastor Ruthann Bosley and Rev. David Naus officiating. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ron's memory may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, 7344 Ridge Ave. S.E., East Sparta, OH 44626, or Aultman Hospice, 2821 Woodlawn Ave. N.W., Canton, OH 44708.
