Victoria "Katie" Zuchegno
70, of New Philadelphia died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 in the Hennis Care Centre at Dover. Born May 7, 1942 in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Finis and Ida Beatty Vaughn. Katie was also preceded in death by her son, Boyd "Douglas" Crowe; brothers, Norman, Kenneth, Larry and Glenn Vaughn; sisters, Mable Amabelli, Sarah Louise Withers and Joyce Ruof; and her former husband, Howard P. Crowe.
Katie was a 1960 graduate of Dover High School and attended New Pointe Community Church. She retired from Hennis Care Centre after many years of service in the housekeeping department. She was considered a bingo addict by her family, and would never turn down an opportunity to play.
A wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who was loved by all will be sadly missed by her husband of 38 years, Robert Zuchegno; children, Bonnie (Pat) Burns of New Philadelphia and Robert (Monika) Crowe of Germany; brothers, Roger Vaughn of Florida and Jerry (Betty) Vaughn of Tennessee; grandchildren, Brian, Jessica, Vanessa, Mark, Christopher, Stephanie, Adam and Angie; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jaelyn, Brock and Braxton; sister-in-law, Polly Vaughn; and brother-in-law, Kelly Ruof.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 11 a.m. in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor Chad Stutzman officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Following the burial a luncheon will be held in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center.
