Virginia L. Wilhelm
89, of Newcomerstown, formerly of Portage Lakes has gone home to be with the King of Kings. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. The Lord called her home on July 18, 2018 after receiving loving care at Riverside Manor Nursing & Rehab Center along with Crossroads Hospice of Green.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert of 67 years. She is survived by her two sons, James L. of Kimbolton and Jerry D. of Santa Barbara; one daughter, Faye L. Cusma and husband Thomas Cusma of Kimbolton; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Ginny cherished her family and friends, her face lighting up in their presence. She loved the Lord and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Newcomerstown. She worked as a waitress and was a homemaker in her earlier years, devoting her time to the needs of family. She enjoyed creative hobbies beginning with embroidery. This led to her passion for coloring. She was devoted to her husband Robert to the very end of her life.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown with Rev. Bob Lafollette and Rev. Don Silverthorne officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron, next to her husband Robert. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
