Blaine Daniel Snyder, 44, of Charleston, W.Va., passed away Oct. 10, 2009, following a seizure.

Born June 15, 1965, in Dover, he was the son of Paul "Dan" Snyder Jr. of Winfield, W.Va., and the late Cinda K. Prysi Snyder. Blaine was a graduate of Dover High School and had lived in the Charleston area since 1990, where he was employed as an electrician by Bayliss-Ramey, Inc.

Blaine loved fishing, the Cleveland Browns and spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Nitro Church of God.

In addition to his father, survivors include two sisters, Darlene (Tom) Jones and Paula Robertson, both of Warren; nieces, Kaylee Robertson and Maddie Jones; nephews, Kevin and Nathan Robertson and Connor and Kyle Jones; and paternal grandmother, Betty Snyder.

Besides his mother, Blaine was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul D. Snyder Sr. and Glenn and Pauline Prysi.

In keeping with his wishes, Blaine was cremated. A private memorial service will be held on Nov. 7, 2009. Arrangements were by the Chapman Funeral Home in West Virginia and Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover.
