Eileen and Claude BlauchEileen Blauch
83, of Sugarcreek, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at her residence. She was born June 21, 1931 in New Philadelphia, Ohio to the late Herbert and Carrie (Henderson) Trustdorf. She is retired from Sugarcreek Heating and Cooling and was a member of the First Mennonite Church in Sugarcreek. She was married on Aug. 30, 1953 to Claude A. Blauch who died on April 10, 2011.
She is survived by her children, Michele (Mitch) Stein of Baltic, Mike (Heather) Blauch of Sugarcreek and Beth (Chuck) Steed of Valparaiso, Indiana; her five grandchildren, Ashley (Andrew) McClellan, Justin Stein, Aaron Steed and Mikey and Marissa Blauch and her great-grandson, Jackson McClellan. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Robert and Marion Trustdorf and three sisters, Margaret Schumacher, Gladys Kirkbride and her twin sister, Nadine Kutcher.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the First Mennonite Church in Sugarcreek with Pastor Jayne Byler officiating. Private family burial will take place in Union Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday 5-7 p.m. at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek and on Thursday 10-11 a.m. at the Church prior to services. Memorials may be made to the First Mennonite Church, PO Box 250 Sugarcreek, Ohio 44681.
