Lauretta E. "Rita" (Lattner) Paisley
75, of Dover, was called home to be with her Lord on Sunday July 27, 2014. Born June 1, 1939 in Baltic she was a daughter of the late Roy and Fern (Studer) Everhart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Kelly A. Lattner on Dec. 14, 2009 and her second husband, Richard Pailsey on June 12, 2007. Rita is survived by her children, Douglas A. (Cindy) Lattner of Montrose, Pa. and Rhonda (Bob) McCaslin of Dover; a sister, June (Louie) Green; two brothers, Wayne (Shirley) Everhart and Floyd (Carolyn) Everhart; grandchildren, Kyle (Kate), Amber and Ashlee Lattner, Alisha, Bo, Caitlin and Jace McCaslin and a great-grandson, Kingston Lattner; best friend (niece), Valerie Bryant; cousins, Marjorie Kaser and Shirlee Schlabach and life friends, Diana Anoil and Rose McDonald.
Rita was a 1957 graduate of Baltic High School and a member of St. Paul Renner's Church. She was New Philadelphia school bus driver for many years and was employed at Rainbow Party Rentals at Dover. She enjoyed sewing and making outfits for the New Phila School color guard, gardening, dancing and spending time with her grandchildren, family, friends and her faithful dog and companion "Buster".
A memorial celebration of life service will be held Saturday August 16, 2014 at 5 p.m. in Dover Memorial Hall at 410 N. Wooster Ave. Dover with Pastor Tommy Miller officiating. The service will be followed by a dinner and fellowship. The Lebold-Smith Funeral Home at Bolivar is handling the arrangements.
