(Winafeld) Amick
Age 82, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, after a short illness. Born in Canton, she had lived in the Canton/ North Canton area most of her life. Beverly was a 1950 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and was retired from Josef's Furniture. She had attended Church of the Lakes United Methodist; and was an animal lover.
Survived by her husband, Gene Amick of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Judy (Ross) Pabst and Dr. Larry Pabst of Lexington, Ohio; two grandchildren, Dr. Lindsay (Rev. Matt) Miller and Laura (Brian) Maloney; two great- grandchildren, Elise and Davis Miller all of Greenville, S.C.; sister, Elizabeth Marfut of Seattle, Wash.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her son, James D. Ross; parents, Carl A. and Beatrice Winafeld; and brother, Carl E. Winafeld. The family would like to thank the staff of Mercy Hospice for their compassionate care.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m. with a service to follow at 8 p.m. in the Lamiell Funeral Home, with Rev. Bryan George officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mercy Hospice or the Stark County Humane Society. Condolences may be made to:
