Paul R. Walker
age 82 of Barnesville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011 at his home. He was born Feb. 4, 1928 in Belmont County, a son of the late William A. Walker and Eva L. Burson Walker. Paul was a retired foreman with Sparta Ceramics of East Sparta, Ohio, a member of the East Richland Friends Church, and he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Barbara Jones Walker; children, Patrick (Marsha) Walker of Sugarcreek, Ohio, Paula Fawcett and Steven Walker, both of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Mark (Lanell) Walker of Georgetown, Tenn., Christine (James) Huff of Newcomerstown, Ohio; grandchildren, Jason, Mare, and Stephanie Tarulli, Kristopher Huff, Heather Thomas, Travis and Traci Fawcett, Jayme Stover, Karri Herman, Matthew Walker, Michael, Joshua and Justin Walker; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Rarick of Barnesville, Ruth Shepherd of Bethesda; a brother, Wayne Walker of Texas.
Friends will be received Tuesday 2-8 p.m. at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 702 East Main St., Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.. Burial in Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to East Richland Friends Church Building Fund, Valley Hospice, or the Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library.
