Jeremiah Rubright Obituary
36, of New Philadelphia died Monday, March 7, 2011 in Mercy Medical Center at Canton, Ohio. A son of Samuel Rubright and Victoria Behra, Jerry was born March 20, 1974 at Glendale, W.Va. Jerry was a 1993 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. He also attended Buckeye Career Center. He had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed camping with his beloved companion of 12 years, Stacey German. Jerry was also an avid fisherman.
Surviving are his father, Samuel (Audrey) Rubright of Rayland, Ohio; his mother, Victoria (David) Behra of Barnhill; his son, Tanner Rubright; his beloved companion, Stacey German and their daughter, Kaylee Rubright; two sisters, Tara (Michael IV) Prediger of Wadsworth and Christina Shamel of Massillon; his nieces and nephews, Taylor and Tyler Raber, Lilly Baron, Lacey Shamel and Kamyiah Martin; and several cousins, aunts and uncles. Jerry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Margaret and Kenneth Jackson and Jerry and Alma Rubright and an uncle, Tom Cox.
Services for Jerry will be private and inurnment will be held in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia. Those wishing to do so may send the family a personal condolence and view an online memorial by visiting the funeral home website. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Tara Prediger, P.O, Box 95, Wadsworth, Ohio 44282, for the future needs of Jerry's children.

I don't know what to say that wouldn't sound too cookie cutter, so I will say this: Jerry is in a better place, and he doesn't have to deal with the pressures of life anymore. God will watch over him now. I will remember hanging out with Jerry and Dean, knocking back a couple cold ones those many years ago. The fond memories always remain. Keep them next to you whenever you think about Jerry. Sam, Vicky, Tara, Christina, I can't fathom what you are all going through at this time in your life. You all have my deepest sympathy and condolences.
