Roy Streeter Obituary

Roy Lee

On Oct. 8, 2011, God opened up the Heavens and brought tears from above to mourn the

He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, great- nephew and great-niece, taking them fishing, hunting, and just enjoying the outdoors. Roy also enjoyed country music and tinkering with cars.
His surviving family includes his four children, Brenda Streeter of Gnadenhutten, Corarena Streeter of Uhrichsville, Sarah Streeter of Euclid, Ohio, and Chief Warrant Officer 3 Roy Streeter and his wife, Wendy (Weaver) Streeter, of Hawaii; his beloved grandchildren, Adam Grandison, Jenypher Wirth, Drake Haney, and Dylan, Kaylee and Lindsay Streeter; a great-nephew, John Coffey of the home; a great-niece, Ann Coffey of the home; his loving fiancée, Gwen Brannan; a loving sister, Shirley Streeter of Uhrichsville; and many nieces and nephews who loved their "Uncle Roy".
To celebrate Roy's life with his family, calling hours will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11th., in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with interment following at Feedspring Cemetery in the beautiful hills near his home that he loved so much. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I got to know "Uncle Roy," as he became known to all of us at Trenton Avenue, while I had his nephew, John, in my class. He was a very kind and respectful man, who did a super job with John and Ann. Your family is in my prayers!

I My sympathy and prayers go out to the Streeter Family. Roy and his sister, Shirley, were in my class at the Winfield School in the early 60"s and were great kids. I know all who knew Roy will miss him very much.
